Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because there exists a german version with relevance - and yasni is very visible on google so users need a chance to inform themselves about yasni without using the yasni information only. Yasni has over one million users each from Germany, France, United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Austria per month. Let's try to work it out together instead of deleting the article. — 217.234.189.51 (talk) 15:47, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- In Germany "yasni" is a synonyme for specialized people search engines and most of newspapers or tv reports show yasni as an example when they talk about privacy in the web. (examples are "Spiegel" or "ZDF").
- Yasni is not only a search engine but a social network with about one million registrations (source.
I think it is relevant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.217.224.52 (talk) 20:12, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
Privacy Concerns aside
[edit]In fairness,if there is a page about a US search tool [1], there should be page about a non-us search tool. As long as the data is relevant, why on earth would you want it deleted?
- Deletion is equivalent to Censorship, and Wikipedia is supposed to be 'neutral'.

Annoying ads
[edit]It amazes me that the extremely annoying form of advertising on Yasni is not mentioned in the "Criticism" section. It's the titillating You Won An Iphone-kind of totally useless ads that make it impossible to use this search machine for any longer than 1 minute. Glatisant (talk) 13:10, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
