scientific name for yellowtail kingfish

I don't think there are any valid subspecies for this species. From memory the Seriola lalandi lalandi label was part of a range of subspecies assigned to yellowtail kingfish populations by some sport fishing organisation. Yellowtail kingfish should just be referred to as Seriola lalandi (www.fishbase.org). Damian MoranDamian 2000 08:16, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
