"Examples of" sections
[edit]At present this article features two sections of examples, "Examples of Code Switching" and "Example of Bilingual Dialogue". These are, I assume, excerpts from the book. But there is no information about, for example, where they appear in the book, nor is it obvious to me how such "examples" are intended to inform encyclopedia readers. (Come to that, it's only a guess that these examples are in fact in the book. The "dialogue" sounds like a letter; I'm assuming it is a letter that appears in the book.)
I think that both of these sections need to be cleaned up, at least citing and framing their positions in the book. Perhaps it would be better to remove them entirely. Cnilep (talk) 06:35, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree, and I'm now going to remove them. Even if the examples are from the book (which is still unclear) there's no reason to provide a lecture on what code-switching and bilingual dialogue are on this particular page. 850 C (talk) 20:00, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
Title
[edit]Yo-Yo Boing was the stage name of a TV personality and comedian in the 1950's in Puerto Rico. Is there a connection with the title? Shouldn't the title be explained?65.81.79.71 (talk) 17:59, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
