Why is there a rock paper scissors theme continuosly put here? This game has nothing remotely resembling rock paper scissors... the only similarity to rock paper scissors in this is the smae similarity as to 21st finger. 2 people throw out one of a selection of choices, and the person with the better hand comes away better. however, none of those games has any stipulation thet your choice must be 100% random on one side and the other side can pick freely, nor the slew of other rules that make it about as far from similar as you could get.

this I want to mention... the cost of the figures was $15.99 each and there were 3 of them. I don't know where $20 came from. but $48 for the set (plus tax), plus 3.29 for the 10 card booster packs. There is no rock paper scissors element in the game... a highly strategic Dot system (that I will allow others to fully explain the math of) was employed, leading to certain weapons having guaranteed success against certain other weapons, or guarenteed failure, but mostly allowing for situations with a 0% 25% 50% or 75% potential successful outcome against a moderately decent outcome, or a super successful outcome. this incredibly strategic system bears no relation to the one described in the current wikki of rock/paper/scissors. the childish look of the game certainly drove away many potential customers, and the rather complex nature of the game also caused younger players to find it too confusing/difficult to play properly. the yahoo group, which was and remains the definitive source for information and assistance with the rules is not mentioned.. the atomoton website (no longer existant) is not mentioned, nor is the tournament system, ranking system, Zmarshal concept, or even the fact that the game was based of of the Exiles RPG game (which i'm not even sure if that ever saw the light of day.) even the fact that the models were paintable (and were intended to be so) was left out.

i cleaned some of this up in the article just now. hopefully further improvements will follow.

I was told that one of the reasons that this game wasn't a success was because of some sort of lawsuit after a child choked on some the pieces. I don't know hether or not this is true, though.
