"Third set" minor infobox mistake

[edit]

At the bottom of the infobox, it says "third set in the Zendikar block", this is incorrect for it is the first set. I tried editing this but I can't, someone please fix this.Snikch (talk) 14:11, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tricky, but I fixed it.--King Bedford I Seek his grace 16:43, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ha cool, thanks. Now let's hope that soon there'll be more to write about Zendikar.Snikch (talk) 10:18, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Known Mechanics

[edit]

The Sub type "Trap" and the returning mechanic "Kicker" have been confirmed by the planeschase decks and the "state of Design 2009" article. Anyone feel free to add these. Pallid Sky (talk) 20:18, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Edit: Lifebaka corrected me. Snikch (talk) 21:10, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, I don't think ally is a mechanic (which is what the most recent edit moved it to in the infobox). Putting the type Ally in a creature's Type Line doesn't do anything by itself. Rather, it's used to include the creature in effects that reference allies, of which there are several types, which is made clear, I believe, in Mark Rosewater's most recent article at the official site. I feel it belongs where I originally had it, in the key words, and would like someone to explain why they thought it didn't belong there. TheDarkAdonis (talk) 22:07, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Technically, putting anything as a subtype doesn't do anything by itself, but only matters if things reference the subtype (Mutant, Ninja, and Turtle, for example). And neither card types nor card subtypes are not keywords, by the definition in the Comprehensive Rules. Cheers. lifebaka++ 02:26, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Zendikar

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Zendikar's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "maro":

  • From Rise of the Eldrazi: Rosewater, Mark (August 24, 2009). "State of Design 2009". Wizards of the Coast. Retrieved November 6, 2009.
  • From Unhinged (Magic: The Gathering): The Rosewater Rumble, Round 5: Zendikar (#4) vs. Unhinged (#13).

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:43, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
