Banality (sculpture series)[edit]
- ... that Jeff Koons' Banality sculptures feature Michael Jackson, Odie, The Pink Panther, Saint John the Baptist, and a porn star?
- ALT1: ... that Jeff Koons' giant Banality sculptures include Michael Jackson holding a chimpanzee and a topless Jayne Mansfield holding The Pink Panther?
- ALT2: ... that Jeff Koons posed with pigs, a pony, and women in bikinis to advertise his Banality sculptures?
- ALT3: ... that Jeff Koons illegally copied The Pink Panther, Garfield's Odie, and the work of two photographers for his giant Banality sculptures?
- ALT4: ... that the Banality sculptures include a "Walt Disney version of an erotic fantasy", an "enjoyable send-up of heterosexual rapture", and a "sinister conflation of the sacred and the profane"?

(currently for all but ALT1). Length checks out (7157 characters); article was created on November 6, 2011; the referencing appears pretty good, but on closer inspection, I can't find an inline reference for the ALT1, ALT3 isn't even mentioned in the article (while it states they were copyright infringements, it doesn't say that they were from photographs.) It is also unclear what reference covers the infoboxes for the sculptures. Harrias talk 15:36, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
- Please be more specific about the ALT1 problem - I've added a reference to further the "topless" part if that is what you are referring to. ALT3 is mentioned in the article in the individual sculpture sections. I've added references for the infoboxes but it's not an ideal solution. violet/riga [talk] 18:51, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

- With regards to ALT1: "partly clothed" is a much looser term than "topless"; if you wish to use the latter in the DYK, I'd suggest using the same in the article. However, the rest of my concerns have been met. Spotchecks reveal no copyvio or close paraphrasing. With the exception of ALT1, the hooks are all good to go.
