Emilio Lopez Zamora dam
- ... that the Emilio López Zamora dam (pictured) in Ensenada, Baja California, almost overflowed on March 4, 1978?
- ALT1:... that fish such as channel catfish, bluegill, largemouth bass, and redbelly tilapia have been found in the Emilio López Zamora dam (pictured) in Ensenada, Baja California?
- Reviewed: This is my first DYK nomination. Will begin reviewing others soon.

- Welcome to DYK, Alan Islas! Your article is new enough and long enough, and as this is your first one you do not need to review a nomination right away. I've made a few text changes in order to copyedit; you might want to look at these as they will likely improve your writing in English in general. Also pay attention to my use of the interlanguage link template {{illm}} to create interlanguage links when enwiki lacks articles on topics like CONAGUA. The hook sources for ALT0 and ALT1 check out and those are probably the best ones usable. If you have questions (o hasta dudas), let me know. Raymie (t • c) 18:07, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you very much Raymie, for the welcome, the review and the improvements to the article. I'm very excited to have my first approved DYK! I was reading about the process and I wasn't sure if this means that it will eventually be featured on the main page, or not necessarily, depending if it gets chosen.
- About the interlanguage link, I wasn't aware of this, thanks. However, it now links to the page about Australia's National Water Commission, I guess because that article happens to have the same name. Should I make it "Mexico National Water Commission" inside the template to avoid this?
- Thanks again for your time and support! Alan Islas (talk) 23:09, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Alan Islas: I made it a piped link using the lt parameter of that template. Thank you for catching the issue! Now that it has been approved, at some point (and it might be a few weeks, be patient), one of the two hooks will appear on the Main Page! The photo may or may not appear depending on what the promoting admins do. Raymie (t • c) 23:39, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
