- ... that conductors of bands performing at the Central Bandstand, Herne Bay, England (pictured), designed by H. Kempton Dyson, used to make their entrance over a red carpet laid across the road from their hotel?

- Comment: Central Bandstand, Herne Bay has already been entered for DYK when it was new enough and is still on the nominations page, but has not yet been reviewed as far as I know. So I have created a new double nomination with H. Kempton Dyson here. I did attempt to adapt the original nomination by addiing H. Kempton Dyson in an alternative tag, but could not make the links/codiing work for a double nom.
