Japhet Asher

[edit]

Created/expanded by Cliftonian (talk). Self nom at 03:22, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

Article: New ; Long enough ; Within policy ; Sources
Hook: Format ; Content ; Hook fact citation
Other: ≤5 DYK credits
The hook fact (...21 years old...) in the lead section is not cited and the person's age is not mentioned elsewhere in the article. However, if only the year (1982) is mentioned in the sources, perhaps a footnote would do for the age?
Note: This is my first DYK Review. Help! Tupsumato (talk) 10:22, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
His age is sourced to IMDB, which is in the external links section. As his birthday is 14 January 1961, if the film was produced during 1982 then he was 21 years old. I've added some footnotes anyway and resolved a disambiguation link that was there. I hope it's okay now. Cliftonian (talk) 11:15, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm okay with that. Tupsumato (talk) 15:08, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
Great stuff. Cliftonian (talk) 15:14, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
  • If the film were produced really early in the year (unlikely but not impossible), he would be 20. Crisco 1492 (talk) 16:34, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
  • It says here he was 21. I have added this to the article too. Cliftonian (talk) 16:41, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
  • It also says he wrote for it, so I've added that too. Cliftonian (talk) 16:42, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

This was the first DYK nomination I have reviewed, so even though I probably should do the final steps by myself as well, I'd rather see a more experienced editor continue from here while I'm still trying to learn how it should be done. So, could anyone find a suitable slot for this nomination in the preparation areas and put it up at some point? Tupsumato (talk) 23:13, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
  • Usually the reviewer does not build the preps. It allows greater control and reduces the potential number of edit conflicts. Someone will be around shortly to move this. Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:41, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
