Norman C. Pickering[edit]

5x expanded by 78.26 (talk). Self-nominated at 21:54, 23 December 2015 (UTC).

  • New enough. Long enough. No apparent copyvios. Interesting hook. Sourcing good. QPQ complete. One suggestion is offering more hooks. DaltonCastle (talk) 05:59, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
I think some context would make this hook a bit more interesting. 78.26 and DaltonCastle, how about:
ALT1: ... that Norman C. Pickering, co-founder of the Audio Engineering Society, was caught off-guard by the introduction of the LP record?
The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 15:50, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
I like it, I like it a lot! 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 23:54, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
ALT1 will require validation and a "tick" before promotion. Jolly Ω Janner 06:10, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT1 verified; short enough, interesting and neutral. The source for the fact that he founded the Audio Engineering Society is online, while the source for him being caught off-guard is offline. Rest of review per DaltonCastle. sst 07:40, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
  • I like ALT1 a lot. Looks good! DaltonCastle (talk) 19:59, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
