Pido Dida: Sabay Tayo[edit]

Created by 001Jrm (talk). Self nominated at 05:02, 17 December 2014 (UTC).

  • New article, long enough, no copyright violations, QPQ done. The hook fact is cited to Kris Aquino's Facebook account. Because Aquino is discussing a third-party award that she received, I think this is bordering on an WP:ABOUTSELF violation. I'd suggest you find a better source or think of a new hook. The hook you've suggested needs to be rewritten anyway: "right away" is ambiguous and reads awkwardly to me. CR4ZE (tc) 09:52, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for your comment. There are actually more than one source in the article that proves her receiving the said award such as this site, though it's my fault to just cite her Facebook account. To make sure, I already added a better website after the hook. For the hook, I actually thought about replacing the term 'right away', but due to my lack for better term I just left it like that. Do you think 'instantly' is the better word? Or do you have other suggestions, if you don't mind? Thanks again! 001Jrm (talk) 02:02, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
Sorry for getting back late. Philstar.com seems fine to me, so that issue is solved. My problem with the wording is the ambiguity of what "right away" (or "instantly") means. Is it to say that she received the award immediately following the film's release? I think it's best to leave that part off. I revised the hook accordingly, and think it's good to go now as is. Thanks so much for your review and help! See you around! 001Jrm (talk) 07:01, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Removed from prep area. The hook ref (Facebook) is a non-reliable source. The Philippine Star source (footnote 10) does not support the information in the sentence or in the hook; it only mentions that she was named box-office queen, nothing about Rene Requiestas or the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards. I also copyedited the page and noted several "citation needed" tags. Yoninah (talk) 22:44, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
  • My bad. I just found the hook source in the chart. Please add the cites and I'll give this a go. Yoninah (talk) 23:08, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
  • I already added the needed sources. Let me know if I need to change or edit some more. Thanks for copyediting and reviewing. :) 001Jrm (talk) 06:23, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Thank you, that's much better. I just have one more request. The plot summary doesn't read like a "romantic comedy". Could you add anything more to it? Did they end up marrying each other? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 11:05, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Done editing the plot summary. :) 001Jrm (talk) 05:42, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Thank you. All cites in order. ALT1 hook ref verified and cited inline. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 09:26, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
