- Recommendation: a little expansion of the lead section to explain more about the specifics of the case would be helpful. However this is not necessary to run on DYK.
- Hook fact is interesting and accurate, verified here.
- Article is generally clear and well-organized. Most other references accepted on good faith.
- Regarding the hook, I was initially unsure about whether "government" could take a plural. A little research suggests that it can. However, looking again, I see that "government" is taking a singular verb "was" and a plural pronoun "they". Could this be cleared up a little?
