Suru River (Indus)
[edit]- ... that the Suru River (pictured), a tributary of the Indus River, originates from the Panzella glacier and flows entirely in the Kargil district of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir?

- The article does not have 1500 characters of prose, and has not been 5x expanded - it is only 1354 characters; it needs to be at least 2495 characters of prose to meet DYK requirements. Also as a self-nominated DYK by an editor with more than five DYK credits, a QPQ review is required. - The Bushranger One ping only 09:14, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Expanded with references. The article was previously a stub unreferenced. QPQ is already done. MehrajMir ' (Talk) 12:55, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- D'oh; my apologies on missing the QPQ, I should have a bit more caffiene in me at 5 in the morning. Article now meets size requirements; I've done a bit of grammar copyediting on both the hook and article. I'm not 100% sure the websites used as references are fully RSes but the points they cite are either minor geographical issues or also cited from books. AGF on offline sources. - The Bushranger One ping only 15:23, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
