Multiple video support[edit]

Hi. Upon using this template today, I had trouble trying to use more than one video in this template. Could someone please try to re-write the template so it supports multiple videos? Thanks. Adammw (talk) 16:43, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

If you need to include multiple videos, you can include this template multiple times in the Misc parameter. Kaldari (talk) 17:39, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
I tried to do that but was unsuccessful :(
Can you give a sample code for two videos, please? It will be greatly appreciated :)—Iknow23 (talk) 01:58, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Copyright issues[edit]

Many have used this template to link YouTube, which is obviously a copyright violation. --Efe (talk) 10:06, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Links to YouTube vidoes are usually (but not always) copyright violations. Any such copyvio links are a violation of Wikipedia policy and should be removed immediately. Kaldari (talk) 16:08, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Many media companies and artists have official YouTube pages on which they upload their own videos legally. The template can be useful as long as the link is to an official page. The Bookkeeper (of the Occult) 08:25, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

URL error?[edit]

Does anyone know why the url in this diff made the link not show up in the infobox? I think it may be the "#" in the url. If so, why would that mess it up?--Rockfang (talk) 05:20, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

The parser doesn't like it, basically. You can also fix this by naming the attribute, i.e. putting |1=[http:// ... instead of just |[http:// .... Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 09:06, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for replying. Is there anything I would need to change on the template page itself? Or will using the |1= work as the template is right now?--Rockfang (talk) 09:24, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Should work as is. Does, in fact, as I've just made that change to the article in question. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 09:33, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Thank you again. I should have tried that, but I guess I was just being overly cautious for some odd reason.  :) Rockfang (talk) 09:43, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
