List-class

[edit]

Could categorization as List-class be enabled by this template? Now only articles related to Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles are sorted into Category:List-Class Netherlands articles. – Ilse@ 22:57, 2 September 2008 (UTC) {{editprotected}}[reply]

I added it to the template, using Category:List-Class Netherlands articles. — Carl (CBM · talk) 12:42, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why full protection

[edit]

Number of vandalisms on this template: 0
Current status: full protection
Me, the original creator of the template can no longer edit it.
Why??? (especially as there has never been a single vandalism). Arnoutf (talk) 15:11, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have you checked the proetction log? This template is currently transcluded in 6872 different pages. We typically protect templates that are highly used, in agreement with Wikipedia:High-risk templates. — Carl (CBM · talk) 17:52, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Euhm yes, but I created it, made way more than 50% of all edits to it, and now am no longer allowed to edit it..... Arnoutf (talk) 21:16, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

errors

[edit]

{{editprotected}} Since this template is fully edit protected (and some higher levels of transclusion templates aren't) I can't fix this error. It is leaving a blank line after itself.

Stuff

[edit]

Can someone build a documentation subpage, template sandbox and testcases page for this template? 76.66.193.90 (talk) 11:23, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Given the errors that this template was producing it seemed best to convert this banner to use {{WPBannerMeta}} which I have now done. I'll also create those pages as requested now. Martinmsgj 12:45, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Documentation, sandbox and testcases pages created, so the anon can edit them.
  • There are a few differences you might notice with the conversion:
    1. Link to portal included on banner.
    2. Implementation of the full quality scale, so Template-Class, etc. become available.
    3. Renaming of Non-article Netherlands pages to NA-Class Netherlands articles (just to standardise with other projects).
  • There are also lots of features available. See the documentation at the meta banner for details. Martinmsgj 12:55, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{editprotected}} Could PORTAL_IMG (currently set to the very poor quality image of NL - COA.png) be replaced with this image (Coat of arms of the Netherlands.svg), as per the edit in the sandbox. Thank you. --81.155.0.173 (talk) 00:13, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of WikiProject Dutch municipalities

[edit]

Could anyone implement these changes I performed in the sandbox to the real template? CRwikiCA (talk) 20:27, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

All classes

[edit]

Is it possible to turn the "Redirect" class on for this banner, and possibly the other class options that were not yet enabled? CRwikiCA (talk) 14:58, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect is simple enough; I did this in response to Template talk:WikiProject Cities#Redirect class; at Template:WikiProject Scouting, I also switched on |class=book.
So, which additional classes are needed, specifically? WP Netherlands currently has the "extended" class list (see Template:WPBannerMeta#Assessment), just as both Cities and Scouting previously had. The full list of available classifications is given at Category:Articles by quality; therefore, eliminating those already provided by the "extended" scale, your choices can be one or more of: FM, AL, BL, Book, Bplus, CL, User, Current, Future, Merge, Needed, Redirect (no, I don't know what they all are either). --Redrose64 (talk) 15:59, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your quick reply, Redirect and Book should suffice for now then. I did not realize there were so many of these obscure other options. CRwikiCA (talk) 16:09, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

WikiProject Dutch municipalities is merged into WikiProject Netherlands as a task force, per Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Netherlands/Dutch municipalities task force#Proposed merger into WikiProject Netherlands as a task force. Therefore, change the current tf1 section to the following: (experimented in sandbox here, see differences here)

|tf 1 = {{{muni|}}}
 |TF_1_LINK = Wikipedia:WikiProject Netherlands/Dutch municipalities task force
 |TF_1_NAME = Dutch municipalities task force
 |TF_1_IMAGE = 2022-NL-Gemeenten-basis-2500px.png
 |TF_1_QUALITY = yes
 |tf 1 importance     = {{{muni-importance}}}
 |TF_1_ASSESSMENT_CAT = Dutch municipalities articles
