Rabbinical directors[edit]

The phrase "Rabbinical directors" sounds funny and it's not an official term. I understand that it allows for the inclusion of non-official-Roshei Yeshiva, but maybe something like "Rabbis of Yeshiva University" or "Rabbis at Yeshiva University" would be better. --DLandTALK 16:01, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

URL in template is causing cite errors[edit]

Hi - there was a hyperlink in the template that caused a cite error to appear on every page where the template is placed after any {{reflist}} template, or in articles that have no {{reflist}} template. I've removed it, but am very new to template editing; if there's a good reason for its inclusion perhaps someone wants to readd it in some way that won't upset article syntax. Thanks. Title change to "Roshei Yeshiva of RIETS at YU"[edit]

I made this change because the rabbis listed are the rabbinic leadership of RIETS ... not of the whole YU. I based the info off of RIETS's website. Additionally, I changed it from Rabbis to Roshei Yeshiva because "Rabbis" would include anyone who works at YU/RIETS that's a rabbi. This template, in its current design, is only for the roshei yeshiva. I also changed R' Lamm's title from Chancellor to Rosh HaYeshiva because, as per the website, he is Chancellor of YU and the Rosh HaYeshiva of RIETS. -shirulashem(talk) 17:46, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I would object to the use of the term rosh yeshiva for all the names listed, because not all the people in this list held that title. For example, Samuel Belkin, though a rabbi, is described as a professor of Greek and a University President, but not as a Rosh Yeshiva. Yehoishophot Oliver (talk) 02:40, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
