Teodora Pavlovska (Serbian Cyrillic: Теодора Павловска, born 1992), known professionally as Teya Dora (Serbian Cyrillic: Теја Дора), is a Serbian singer and songwriter.[1] She is best known for her single "Džanum", which has gained popularity on the social media platform TikTok and various musical platforms.

Life and career

Teodora Pavlovska was born in 1992 in Bor, Serbia, and later moved to Belgrade. She went on to study music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, US.[2]

She launched her career on the Serbian music scene as a songwriter and composer. She wrote the title track for Nikolija 2019 album, Yin & Yang, and also worked with Teodora and Nataša Bekvalac, among others.[3]

Dora published her first song as an artist, "Da na meni je", in July 2019, and it became a hit. Between 2020 and 2023, she wrote several songs for the Serbian film series South Winds.[4][5] In 2023, she released the song "Džanum", which became popular on the social media platform TikTok after the Belgrade school shooting; the single went to sixth place on Billboard's Croatia Songs chart[6] and reached fourth place on the Daily Viral Songs Global chart on Spotify.[7][8][9][10]
