The Birthday Concert is a live album by Jaco Pastorius, recorded in Florida in 1981 in celebration of the bassman's 30th year.
It features many friends of Jaco as guests, including the Peter Graves Orchestra as brass section (14 horns, steel drums and percussion) and Michael Brecker on the tenor sax as a counterpart to Jaco's lead.
It was released posthumously by Warner Bros. on Sept. 26, 1995.
