The Chi is an upcoming American drama series created by Lena Waithe about life on the South Side of Chicago.[1] The pilot was directed by Rick Famuyiwa.[1] It will premiere on Showtime on January 7, 2018.[2]
Filming started in Chicago in April 2017.[3]
