Thyagam (lit.'Sacrifice') is a Tamil film released in 1978 with Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role of a protagonist.[1] The film was a remake of 1975 Hindi film Amanush. Upon released the film was blockbuster and highest-grossing film of the year.[2]

The Music is scored by Ilayaraja and the lyrics are written by Kannadasan.[3] The album was released under the label Saregama.[4]
