Too Late to Die Young (Spanish: Tarde para morir joven) is a 2018 Chilean film directed by Dominga Sotomayor Castillo.[1] She became the first woman ever to win the Leopard for Best Direction at the Locarno Festival.[2] This coming of age tale, set in an intentional community in rural Chile in 1990, follows a teen girl named Sofía (Hernández) as she navigates adolescence.[3][4]
