"Too Many Broken Hearts"
Song

"Too Many Broken Hearts" is a song by Australian singer Jason Donovan.

Written and produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, it reached number one in the United Kingdom[1] and Ireland in March 1989. Donovan had a previous number one with his duet with Kylie Minogue "Especially for You" in January 1989.

The song was included on Donovan's debut album Ten Good Reasons, his 1991 Greatest Hits album and again on a later collection in 2006.

The music video was filmed in Beechworth, Victoria.

Cover versions

English punk rock band Peter and the Test Tube Babies recorded a cover of the song for their 1990 album The $hit Factory.

Dance-pop group El Simbolo recorded a Spanish language cover of the song for their 1999 album No Pares.
