Ubisoft São Paulo was a video game developer, belonging to Ubisoft, it's the first Ubisoft studio in Brazil and Latin America. The studio is located near Avenida Paulista, São Paulo.

The opening of the studio is part of global expansion strategy of the company, to offer opportunities for young and creative people that is found in Brazil and nearby countries in Latin America. At first, Ubisoft São Paulo will have 20 employees, with plans to expand to 200 employees in a period of four years. The studio will be primarily responsible for the development of casual games for the Nintendo DS and Wii consoles.[1]

Commanded by Chaverot Bertrand, who has worked in Brazil from 1999 to 2003 in the distribution division of Ubisoft games in Brazil, the plans include expanding and opening new studios in cities like Rio de Janeiro and Florianópolis.[2]

In January 2009, Ubisoft announced the acquisition of Southlogic studio, located in the city of Porto Alegre. The company became part of Ubisoft São Paulo, but with the office still located in Porto Alegre city.[3]
