Welcome to the Land of Confusion

A Paradox May Be Paradoctored.

Robert Anson Heinlein, "—All You Zombies—", 1958

In the years to come, expect contributions in these areas:

mesons are clearly a suitable substitute for brothers

Frank S. Crawford, p35 of Experimental Verification of the ‘Clock-Paradox’ of Relativity

I'm working on an authoritative review and comprehensive bibliography (English and German publications, there are many more in other languages) of the twin paradox. Recently (February 2008), the bibliography has crossed the 1000-item barrier. I expect to add at least several hundred more, possibly ending up with more than 2000 citations. Even after considerable pruning, the end result should dwarf the bibliographies of Marder, Arzeliés and Benton (200-300 each). I have collected electronic copies for 350+ citations so far.

I will currently not engage in major edits of the article, as I have my own solution of the paradox and intend to publish it together with the finished review. But if you need facts checked about the twin paradox (literature), or want a copy of a hard-to-get source, don't hesitate to contact me.

If you have twin paradox citations/abstracts/reviews/translations/bibliographies/copies of sources, especially in languages other than English and German, please share them, I can use any help I get. ;)

Yeah, why free for workers?

Why free for workers?

I don't accept the Wikimedia/Wikipedia project as the educator's starvation. It has to be discussed, before anything. The knowledge free for everyone, ok. But must the price be no-pay teachers, professors, writers, educators, experts? Yesterday was the Worker day, and the Wikimedia gift for workers in EDUCATION should be payment. If not, the rising "knowledge society" or "information society" will promote a "Wealth of Educations", but also the "misery for educators".

The Wikifoundation has million and million dollars for too several things, but for users? Users support the Wikimedia, it's deeply reasonable to pay who MAKES the Wikifoundation projects, like Wikipedia.

This subject is also about License, that means also Copyrights. PAY AUTHORS NOW!!!

The World and Wikipedia by Andrew Dalby

With encyclopedic modesty Pliny has named his sources; but; with the insouciance of a second-rate Wikipedian, he provides no inline citations.
