Early life and beginnings[edit]
Ahmed Gamal was born on April 2, 1988 in Tanat-Egypt,he's graduated from Faculty of pharmacy and that's for his grandfather's wish,while his father supported him in singing; he has one brother called 'Khaled" and the eldest sister "Noha". Ahmed lives with his parents.
Ahmad is an egyptian singer and composer, he showed up in many shows as a young talent, composed and performed many songs,but his break through was on his participation in Arab Idol-season 2 that is broadcasted on MBC channels.he made his first music video "Kol youm" on the show.during the show Ahmed's evaluation was always positive from the judges and also audiences voted for him heavily, as he's a promising singer.
Autobiography[edit]
His father took him at the age of ten to the Arab Music Institute where studied Lute and learned oriental music. His education took about three years, then he entered the Opera and studied for two years. Ahmed's idol is Mohamed Abdel Wahab.He also liked Pharmacy which was one of the most important commandments of his grandfather. His Grandfather is considered one of the most important characters that influenced Ahmed. He was the one who expected that Ahmed will be a famous person in the future. When his grandfather died, Ahmed was a little child but was deeply affected by his grandfather's death.He also participated in Modern Star Show He attended as guest in Sola show by Asala and was praised by the great Musician Ammar El Sheraey
His Participation in Arab Idol Show[edit]
Ahmed Gamal decided to go for Music and leave pharmacology after the participation in many competitions during college, and musical classes with friends. He decided to go for a real competition,so he participated in ArabIdol (season 1), to get into the fight, about who will be the Arab idol but the luck didn't help him a lot because he should supplement military service but he supported his friend Carmen Soliman then he decided to participate again in Arab idol season 2. He was admired by all the judges Hassen El shafii called him "Ahmed Sultan" ,Nancy Ajram told him him "al zaman zamanek ya gamill", Ahlam told him "ant a7sen wa7ed 8nat 3la al msr7",Rageb 3lama told him "ant mogrem fi al 8ona"And also out of the show he impressed the Egyptian singer The King Mohamed Monir ,after he performed his song in Arab Idol "younis" so Mounir decided to went for visiting Ahmed on Beirut to support him. Also the Egyptian singers Angham ,Sherine and Rami Gamal supported Ahmed through their tweets on twitter ,the Syrian singer Asala as well and more other singers did.
