Anisur Suman (আনিসুর সুমন, born 11 October) is a Bangladeshi professional journalist, Columnist and content creator. His full name is Md. Anisur Rahman Suman. He is working as a joint news editor in Bangladesh's leading media Ekhon Television. He has worked in various media in Bangladesh for last 14 years.

Early life and education

Anisur Suman was born in Kheshra village of Tala upazila of Satkhira district. His father is a retired primary school headmaster. He passed SSC in science department in 2006 from Shahjatpur Yusuf Smriti Higher Secondary School, Satkhira. Then he successfully passed HSC in 2008 from Satkhira Day Night College. During his university life, he got the opportunity to study in two top level universities of the country. He chose Jagannath University's Department of Mass Communication and Journalism because of his interest in journalism. In 2013 he obtained 'First Class Third' from this university. Later he also completed Masters from Jagannath University.

Career

In 2009, he started his career by writing in the national daily. In 2010, he started working as a contributing reporter in the country's leading national daily newspaper 'Jugantar'. Then in December 2013, he joined the private satellite channel 'Channel 9' as a business [[1]]. After that he worked for 14 years in Daily Ittefaq, Daily Amader shomoy, Daily Banik Barta. Anisur Suman joined Ekhon Television as a Joint News Editor in February 2024.

During this time he served as reporter, sub-editor, senior sub-editor, sometimes as shift in charge and sometimes as deputy chief reporter. Currently, he is working as the Joint News Editor of Web and Digital Department of Ekhon Television. He is equally known as a columnist. Many of his Editorial Writings have been published in Banik Barta and Dainik Amader Shomoy. He also has skills as a content creator.

Personal life

Anisur suman is married to Sharmin Jolly in september 14, 2016. she is a professional pharmacist of ACME Laboratories Ltd. They have a daughter, her name is Sharleez Anja.
