  1. Grammatical checks are vital
  2. Outline is important because it provides a brief overview of the content, ultimately can be a deciding factor if a reader continues
  3. Some information were not relevant, for example just including the monopoly did not provide a basis for comparison to other related divisions
  4. Links are valid
  5. Talk page includes a discussion how the content should be removed
  6. Rated: C-class

Improving an existing article?

  • Identify what's missing from the current form of the article. Think back to the skills you learned while critiquing an article. Make notes for improvement in your sandbox

Improvements to Social Movement Article:

  • Avoid using first person narrative (i.e. "As editor of the paper The North Briton, Wilkes..."
  • Rewrite structure of sentences in the "History" Heading section
  • Capitalization for beginning of bullet points and sub-headings
  • Avoid using strong language (i.e. must always be exercised)
  • Combine sentences to ensure clarify (i.e. Social movements are not eternal because they have a life cycle)
