Sydney bus route 610X is a express bus route operated by Hillsbus between Castle Hill and Queen Victoria Building. It is one of the 12 routes to have a stopping pattern on the M2.

History[edit]

On the 29th April 1996, Westbus established a bus route between Castle Hill and the Sydney CBD. This route was numbered the 610, and travelled between Castle Hill shops & Wynyard Station via Lane Cove. Between then and 2000, the bus route was altered in some ways, such as it being rerouted to the M2 Hills Motorway upon its opening and the city destination being changed to Railway Square.

On the 28th August 2000, some 610 services were extended to Kellyville. In 2004, the operator of the route changed from Westbus to Hillsbus, which later in 2005 got its ownership changed to ComfortDelGro. 2 years later, Hillsbus extended the terminus of extended 610 services from Kellyville to Rouse Hill due to the future opening of the North West T - Way.
