This user loves learning about the nature of the universe. He is fascinated by physics, chemistry, geology, biology, physiology, and astronomy, to name a few. Sadly, he is mathematically challenged and forever barred from a deeper understanding of the physical universe because he just "doesn't get" calculus. He is not ashamed to love all things Star Trek, especially the Next Generation. This user thinks that life lived without laughter is a sin. He has been known to chase invisible cows.

building a world that works for everyone, with no one left out
traveling - anywhere and whenever he can afford it, meeting old friends and making new ones.

reading - especially Science Fiction, especially from the 50's.
watching movies with lots of explosions and bad guys coming to hideous ends.
cooking and trying some new ethnic recipe
eating odd foods like haggis, natto, huitlacoche, and other things that others would find revolting.
gardening, growing his own food, and getting his hands covered with Mother Gaia
