What is Soi Ju?
[edit]Soi Ju is a food that is originally from North East of Thailand. It’s made from raw beef and the cow’s offal usually eaten with the Jaew Khom Sauce (Made from lime juice, cayenne, fish sauce, roasted rice, coriander, spring onion, and Cow gallbladder ) with fresh vegetables.
The most popular parts of space are: Beef from the tenderloin, striped legs, as well as striped shanks. Locals prefer to use raised or wild beef rather than store bought beef. History
[edit]Soi Ju is in the North East of Thailand. The word “Soi” means cut and “Ju” means stab. In the culture of the North East of Thailand, people usually eat Soi Ju when they have an important vacation they usually kill large animals especially cows to prepare for the auspicious ceremony. At first, Soi Ju typically ate it as an appetizer but later Soi Ju became to the main dish and later Soi Ju's culture spread into other regions and became well known.
Culture significance
[edit]'Soi Ju' is not just food. But it is the culture of the Isaan people. Because there are a lot of cows raised in the Northeast, they are easy to find. They are large animals that can be shared among the whole village. Cows have thus become the main food of Isaan people at various gatherings. to buy cows to knock down at merit-making ceremonies such as weddings, ordination ceremonies, and khao-sak merit-making ceremonies Then divide the fallen beef into various menus. Whether it's larb, koi, soi ju, spicy soup, sun-dried beef.
Health concerns

4.Prepare a dish and enjoy.
