Slipknot is a nu metal band from Des Moines, Iowa, and have been on four early tours, as well as three world tours.

Early tours

Before Slipknot began touring worldwide, they performed in Ozzfest, Livin La Vida Loco, and Tattoo the Earth. Slipknot participated in 28 performances for Ozzfest. Slipknot was part of the second stage, along with Black Sabbath, Slayer, Deftones, Primus, Godsmack, Fear Factory, System of a Down, and Static-X.[1] On August 19, 1999, Slipknot partook in Livin La Vida Loco tour. The World Domination Tour was a tour that included Slipknot, from November 1999 to March 2000. In North America, Slipknot was supported by Biohazard and Step Kings.[2] After touring for 10 dates in Europe, Slipknot came back to North America, and was supported by Kittie and Will Haven.[4] When Slipknot returned to Europe in March 2000, They were supported by One Minute Silence and Kittie.[8]
