"Science may set limits to knowledge, but should not set limits to imagination." - Bertrand Russell

"When you're finally up at the moon looking back on earth, all those differences and nationalistic traits are pretty well going to blend, and you're going to get a concept that maybe this really is one world and why the hell can't we learn to live together like decent people." Frank Borman, Apollo 8, Newsweek, 23 December 1968.

About Me

[edit]

Hi, I am a retired Police Officer having served for 30 years with the Nottinghamshire Police UK. I specialised in Traffic Patrol and Forensic Collision Investigations (FCI).

During my time in the Police, I graduated at the Open University with a BSc in Psychology, at the University of Leicester with an MSc in Forensic Investigations and Diplomas at the Newcastle College Company in Business Excellence and Performance Coaching. In order to carry out my role as an FCI, I qualified with a City and Guilds in Police Forensic Collision Investigation.

My interests include Life, the Universe and Everything and especially Science and all that can be shown to be true (or at least not disproven). Anything else I am sceptical and encourage others to do likewise.

I have been using Wikipedia for pleasure for several years and I believe that information of this high standard should be free and easily accessible to all.

Contribution

[edit]

As a start to my Wiki Career, I believe I can contribute by writing articles about Driver Psychology, Road Safety, Collision Investigation/Research.
