LI TV, Life Inspired[edit]

LI TV is Asia’s ground-breaking, brand-new, 24-hour lifestyle television channel that broadcasts in high definition (HD). As Asia's first lifestyle channel in HD, the channel presents world-class, high-quality television programmes sourced from around the region and world. ^[1]

LI’s range of first-run programmes centres around five aspects of an ideal lifestyle - Food, Home, Wellness, Travel and Style - that form the five key programming pillars for LI. ^[2]

The channel targets affluent Asian urbanites aged between 30 to 50 years old, one who lives well and is passionate about work and play. Created by Asians for Asians, LI aims to be the ‘Asian lifestyle editor’ to its viewers. ^[3]

Founded in 2009, the channel has successfully launched in Singapore ^[4] , Indonesia ^[5] and Taiwan with other Asian countries in the pipeline.

The channel's playout centre is at Ascent Media in Singapore ^[6]. The live feed is broadcasted via the MEASAT 3 and MEASAT 3a sattelites. ^[7]

Programming[edit]

The television channel showcases a diverse spectrum of Asian exclusive premieres that include Yes Chef!, Pure Design, Backyard Medicine (also known as Grow Your Own Drugs), Property Virgins, Dance and Be Fit: Brazilian Body Workout, The Bollywood Dance Workout, Fashion File, Capital Fashion, Counter Culture, Iron Chef America, Dinner Impossible, The Goddess Workout, Edward's Live Kitchen and many more.

In Singapore, English subtitles are provided for non-English language programmes. In Indonesia, Bahasa Indonesia subtitles are provided for English language programmes and English subtitles are provided for non-English language programmes. In Taiwan, Mandarin subtitles are provided for English language programmes and English subtitles are provided for non-English language programmes.

A comprehensive TV schedule is available at the channel's website, where visitors can find monthly programme highlights, programme synopses, photos and detailed information.

LI's headquarters is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It also has offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. ^[14]
