Den Marco Rodriguez (born June 2, 1984), known by his pseudonym Drane deGuzman (derived from word drain, and his mother's maiden name De Guzman). a musician and worker of our Lord, current bassist/drummer of Hope For The World International Ministries in Cainta,Rizal.
Personal life
[edit]Born and raised in Marikina City, A Christian family With three siblings, Desiree, Destinee, and adopted cousin Dan. His father, Marvin, Electrician and Mother Divine, entrepreneur and long time church worker, giving Marco contact to Christian life.
First Influenced by the sports of Basketball with the likes of Barangay Ginebra, he first picked up a basketball at the age of 10. he spent the better portion of his youth developing his skills, where he quickly embraced OLOPSCollege basketball scene and, by age 13, had joined his first team.
Basketball hobby
[edit]one of many die-hard fans of Barangay Ginebra, He enjoy to watch the 90's team. After school, he love to spend his siesta time on the basketball court in their small subd., playing against his older playmate on his elementary days, Marco accept the game as a challenger on the court, with everyday practice Marco develop the skills and became ligitimate pointguard of the Sunnyville Saints Basketball Organization. He already achieve the Mythical Team award in 1999 and all-star award in 2001, Marco continue to play a pick up games against different opponent on weekend.
Love for Music
[edit]infuenced by secular rock band like Metallica, Wolfgang, Razorback, Smashing Pumpkins from the 90's A Perfect Circle, Tool, Korn, Manson and other new formed band from different genre Marco quickly embraced the music of his generation. Since he enter as a member of HWIM Praiseteam he qickly adopted christian music like Hillsong, Delirious,The Letter Black,Skillet and other christian band as well. Now as a new addition to his musical genre He began loving Trip-Hop music in band like Mandalay.
Musical career
[edit]A music lover,and dream to be in a band, Marco is a long time HWIM member, after accepting an invitation to audition in HWIM praiseteam seek advice from former band member and Praiseteam leader Jay Canlas and with the help of the Lord, in 2002, Marco join the HWIM Cainta Praiseteam, after trained for three months, he finally become regular band member. In september 2011, due to his sinful acts, he's been placed under restoration according to the rules of worship team, Until now. He continue to jam as his practice for he's beloved music for a band called JUDITH he met in Sta. Rosa, Laguna..
