You will no doubt notice that (just like Swanzsteve) you are blocked for a day. This is because edit wars are annoying.

I have moved your draft version of the article to User:Denveron/Herbert Dingle (draft).

Once your blocks have expired, you and Swanzsteve will STILL not be allowed to edit the article, until such time as you have reached an agreement by arguing on your use talk pages. Keep the drama out of the article.

If either of you tries to edit the article without having the other's agreement, I'll block you both.

Got it? DS 04:35, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Keep fighting the good fight[edit]

Heyo. I can imagine that what you're reading on the Administrators' Noticeboard may be discouraging, but don't despair. Remember that no admin can be familiar with all subject matter, so oftentimes they will see a revert war and not be able to distinguish between THE RIGHT VERSION and THE WRONG VERSION. They don't know what editors are on the side of truth and light, and which editors are cranks and crackpots. So, they block everyone and let god sort them out. Know that as long as your continue to work within the bounds of WP policies, your blocks should be few and far between. Good luck, ➪HiDrNick! 04:44, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked 1 week[edit]

Incidentally[edit]

From what I can tell, you are factually correct. This does not excuse you from squabbling with Swanzsteve (who is, from what I can tell, factually incorrect). Just so you know. DS 14:06, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See what I mean? ➪HiDrNick! 14:21, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

reference for claim in Lorentz ether theory article?[edit]

In this edit from 2008 you added an endnote saying "Lorentz commented that the difference between his and Einstein's view was purely metaphysical, and could be left to the metaphysicians." In your edit note you said "References and citations for each statement can be provided if needed"--could you please give your reference for this statement? Better to include the actual quote along with the paraphrase, I think. Thanks! Hypnosifl (talk) 02:42, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
