Contributing to Wikipedia is really a matter of pride and enjoyment for me. It is this plateform that allows you to

1. Share with others what you know. Of course this helps us believing in the philosophy of Hindu Culture (not to mixed up with the Hindu Religion) that says
   ऊं सहना ववतु
   ::::सहनौ भुनक्तु
   सहविर्यम् करवावहे
   ::::तेजस्विना वधीतम् अस्तु
   मा विद् विशावहै
   ||ऊं शांति शांति शांति|| meaning in short let us prosper together without any unfair competition, whatever I know is ours and whatever you know is ours too.
2. This gives us an opportunity to repay the Society, for, round the clock we are taking a lot from the society.
3. In someway it gives us an opportunity and platform to express ourselves; and in the event of our mistakes, we are made aware of them by fellow Wikipedians in a polite way.
