Jesse Harlin is an American video game composer, having worked prominently in the Star Wars game franchise, and most recently on 2k Games’ Mafia III.[1] Harlin has provided music for Star Wars titles such as Star Wars 1313, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Star Wars: Republic Commando, and LEGO Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[2][3]
Career
[edit]Harlin began his career composing for major video game titles as the staff composer and music supervisor at LucasArts. In his time there, Harlin worked on many games in the Star Wars franchise, as well as other games including Lucidity, Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, and the Thrillville franchise.[4] Multiple of his scores have been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra in Abbey Road’s Studio 1. Beyond being a composer, Harlin considers himself to be an interactive music designer, constructing music that smoothly responds to the player's’ actions.
