Methodological Holism[edit]

Methodological holism is, in contrast to methodological individualism, the conviction that any explanation is situated on a higher or macro level, not reduced to an individual level (author). Holism regards individuals or elements as reciprocally influencing each other. (C. Ratner) [1].
