He is a talent of Church of God Anninipan, Flora, Apayao and NONE.
Mendoza was chosen as one of the Original Pilipino Music Junior Ambassadors in promoting local music to the Filipino youth.

[edit]2010–2011: Youth-oriented shows
[edit]Elmer Mendoza's first music stint was in 2010 when he starred in a minor instrument in Church Of God Anninipan, Flora, Apayao, Mabait siya siyempre sa mga tao. Mapagmahal din.
2012–present: Debut as a primetime actor
[edit]Nag-aral siya sa Northern Christian College Sa Laoag City tapos nag transfer siya sa CAgayan State University sa Sanchez Mira, CaGAYAN
2012-present: Music industry
[edit]Mendoza is also part of the band Jesus Band, where he plays Piano. Fellow members in the band include Edgar Bravo, Myra Mendoza, Ptr. Jun Jun Agcaoili, Christian Lara, Carlbaron Tagaban, Jenerwine Laureta and Lhynelle Joy Abig. They recorded their version of Jesus Is Lord' "TGod is Good".
