The 2018 Hpakant jade mine landslide was a landslide on the 24th of July in Hpakant, Myanmar.

The landslide happened during an inspection by the Kachin State Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. [1]
Recovery
[edit]Initially, one miner's body was recovered, and eight more bodies were recovered the following Thursday. [1] The majority of the miners were of Rawang descent. [1]
