Fanatik Romania is a brand covering sports and general news in Romania, held by the journalist Horia Ivanovici. The Fanatik Romania brand became notorious on mass-media market through the Fanatik magazine, the “Fanatik Show" TV show, the “Fantasticii Fanatik" galas, through the exposure on the online environment by the www.fanatik.ro website, a website including not only sports, but also News, Breaking News.

The Fanatik Magazine was launched on 26th October 2004, founded by the businessman Silviu Prigoana, together with Horia Ivanovici, general manager, and loan Viorel, editor in chief. In 2006,[1] the weekly publication was purchased by the journalist Horia Ivanovici, who continued to develop the brand through the “Fanatik Show" TV show, the “Fantasticii Fanatik" galas and the www.fanatik.ro website As of April 2018,[2] the Fanatik magazine started to issue twice a month, going from 24 to 48 pages. In June 2019[3], we published the 700th issue of the publication.

As of 2013, the Fanatik magazine benefits from online exposure as well, after the launching of our www.fanatik.ro website. The online publication in Romania not only includes sport news, but also covers a wide area of news from the cultural, social, legal or modern life.

The www.fanatik.ro media platform is one of the most visited in Romania, with an average of 350,000 unique readers per day, according to www.brat.ro , being ranked in TOP 10 of the Romanian online publications. The Fanatik Company employs approximately 30 individuals, out of which over one half being in direct and permanent contact with the www.fanatik.ro website.

"Fantasticii Fanatik" Galas

The success of “Fanatik Show" also materialised, for 9 years, in the “Fantasticii Fanatik" Galas, which would award the year’s best athletes and Romanian champions. The first “Fantasticii Fanatik" Gala took place in 2005, in two editions. The 11th edition of the “Fantasticii Fanatik" Gala, of 25th November 2014,[4] was also its last one. In 2015,[5] the “Fantasticii Fanatik" Gala at the end of the year was cancelled out of respect for the „Colectiv” tragedy victims and their families

„Fanatik Show”

The Fanatik sports magazine and website had their own TV show, i.e. “Fanatik Show", moderated by Horia Ivanovici, hosted by several TV channels, for over 10 years. The talk-show started airing at TV Sport channel (currently, Sport.ro/ProX), în 2003, in 2003, then moved to Prima TV, then to OTV. n 2007,[7] ethe TV show could be found on Telesport, and two years later, in 2009,[8] returned to OTV. After six months, “Fanatik Show" changed the channel another time and started airing at Digisport on 15th August 2009.[9] After four years, in September 2013,[10] Digisport unilaterally interrupted the contract with the moderator Horia Ivanovici and took the “Fanatik Show" out of the channel flow. The decision was followed by legal proceedings, won by Horia Ivanovici in 20162016.[11] As of August 2014[12] and until February,[13] “Fanatik Show" was included in the flow of Look TV. Between October 2013[14] - February 2014,[15] it aired at Etno TV
