List of Prison Newspapers and Periodicals

[edit]

This is an incomplete list of prison newspapers and periodicals (including zines) written by and for inmates in adult correctional facilities within the United States. In some instances, these publications were produced via a collaboration between incarcerated people and non-incarcerated activists. Some publications appear under various titles, and their publication dates, when known, are listed according to the relevant title for that period of publication. Dates with a "?" indicate the periodical began or ceased publication in an unknown year, but was at least published in the reported year or year range.
