Oriental Land is an Teenagers Extra-Curricular Activities Camosite located in Qingpu District, Shanghai City, under the jurisdiction of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Oriental Pearl, Oriental Land have land area 5600 acres and water area 2000 acres.[1]
Oriental Land has 16 major course practice areas such as Wisdom Avenue, Aircraft carrier, Public safety training, and can carry out more than 200 activities such as weapons expo, wild survival, celebrity search, risk avoidance, and scientific exploration.[1]

Oriental Land achieved numbers of achievements include Chinese National Safety Education Center, AAAA-level Tourist Atraction of China, Chinese National Environmental Science Base[2]
Landscapes[edit]
• Stimulated aircraft carrier: The "aircraft carrier" is 220 meters long,48-meters wide and 46-meters high, and is modeled after the U.S. Navy's "Nimitz" class aircraft carrier in a 1:1 ratio, and has exactly the same runway and bridge as the prototype aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier has large exhibition halls such as the Weapons Expo Hall and the National Security Education Hall, as well as activities such as 4D cinema and simulated gun shooting and target practice.[3]
• Submarine: The Type 33 submarine which served in the East Sea Fleet of the Navy, is known as the "ghost of the deep sea" and "carrier busters". Going deep into the heart of the submarine, visitors can not only understand the internal structure, but also experience the fighting and living environment of the sailors, feel the patriotism of the sailors to show dedication to national defense, and stimulate the admiration of the soldiers and the awareness of dedication to national defense.[3]
• The Fun Bridge: There are 18 types of sport bridge, such as Wave Bridge, Autumn Bridge, Plum Flower Bridge, etc.
• Avenue of Wisdom: Avenue of Wisdom is a 700 meters long, 25 meters wide, artistic, ideological, intellectual landscape road as one. On both sides of the road stand more than 160 statues of Chinese and foreign scientists and thinkers who have made outstanding contributions to human civilization. They are the pride of mankind and an important historical coordinate of the entire history of human science and thought. Walking into the road of wisdom is like walking into the "time tunnel" of knowledge, opening a history of human knowledge written by generations of human sages.[3]
• Bamboo Forest: There are 38 species, more than 100,000 bamboo trees, hidden in the lake between the color of the water, evergreen, winding path.[3]
• National Safety Education Base: The National Security Education Center is the largest national security education base in China. The exhibition hall is mainly composed of six parts: "Preface Hall", "Brilliant Achievements", "Guardian of New China", "Building a New Great Wall together", "Looking at the world", and "End Hall", which comprehensively displays the arduous struggle of our Party's hidden front to safeguard the security and honor of the country.[3] [4]

Activity[edit]
Red Army Footprints Memorial Garden opened in Shanghai Oriental Luzhou[edit]
In order to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party and commemorate the 85th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March, the Red Army Footprints Memorial Park was officially opened in Shanghai's Oriental Luzhou on May 11. The Red Army Footprints Memorial Park displays 100 foot prints of the old Red Army, and engraved with the names and printing time of the old Red Army, in order to create a red education classroom and cultivate young people's belief in loving the Party and patriotism.[7]

Students are able to learn the operation of numbers of weapons during the class.[8]

Provides mutiple courses include: Daily life safety, road traffic safety, rail transit safety, fire safety, air safety, meteorological disaster, earthquake disaster, emergency rescue.[8]
Environmental Science[edit]
Provides multiple courses inculde: Parent-child nature class, weather observation, astronomical observation, plant identification course.[8]
