Responding to Talk Page comments

[edit]

Minor thing really, but respond to someone's comments on their Talk/Discussion page, not their user page, plsthx.DiScOrD tHe LuNaTiC 04:30, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Signature

[edit]

Simple. Use HTML. For example:

<FONT COLOR="#ffa500">orange</FONT>

will give:

orange

Here's a list of colours you can use (click here). There's other things you can use with HTML such as bold and italics. Oh, be sure to follow WP's guidelines (click here). Hope I've been of some help to you and have fun making your signature!! *H¡ρρ¡ ¡ρρ¡ 12:18, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! **Ko2007** 02:21, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Harry Potter roll-call

[edit]

Hi there. Your username is listed on the WikiProject Harry Potter participants list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. Your name has therefore been moved to a "potentially inactive" list. If you still consider yourself an active WikiProject Harry Potter editor, please move your name from the Potentially inactive list to the Active Contributors list. You may also wish to add {{User WP Harry Potter}} to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. Conversely, if you do not wish to be considered a member of the WikiProject, leave your name where it is and it will be moved to the Inactive Contributors section. If you wish to make a clean break with the Project you may move your name to the Known to have left section. Many thanks.

Please do not move pages into redirects

[edit]

Please do not turn substantial and legitimate articles into a redirect, especially when you do not have a valid reason for attempting such a potentially controversial edit, as was the case with Narcissa Malfoy. The article Narcissa Malfoy contains substantial content and enough to deserve its own article, satisfying the requirements presented at WP:FICTION. A legitimate article cannot be redirected in such a manner when there are valid reasons for it to be kept and especially without attempting to gain any sort of consensus. Thank you. ···巌流? · talk to ganryuu 21:18, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He is right about the page move. The way WP works best is when folk discuss when they make big changes. While I don't really agee that Narcissa deserves her own article, you need to argue that point with folk, presumably on the HP Wikiproject. Take it there and discuss the matter. :) - Arcayne (cast a spell) 06:51, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just to jump in here, a bit late, but I'll comment nonetheless. Technically, he can do pretty much anything he wants to in good faith until someone disagrees. If you have a problem, then revert and discuss. But he does not have to get consensus to merge it, he only has to if someone disagrees. i said 03:02, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Vandalism Warning"

[edit]

Hi there.

I received you vandalism warning, and I don't know why. I was trying to fix the article about Narcissa and the Malfoy Family (at that point, Narcissa was merged to the family article). I arranged the references and only removed some stuff that was repeated from the Malfoy family article. My intention was never to vandalise or experiment with the article.
