Subhankar Mukherjee is a novelist and editor, who writes under the name, Sam Mukherjee.

Mukherjee's first novel, Chopped Green Chillies in Vanilla Ice Cream (2011) was published by Rupa & Co. It is a coming of age novel set in Calcutta, India.

His second novel, In the Name of Love is scheduled to be released by Inanna Publications, Canada in the Fall of 2012. It is a love story set in the backdrop of human trafficking.

Currently he is a Senior Writer at Globalom Media and a Contributing Editor of South Asian Outlook in Toronto.
