The O-Town Hoedown is an annual country music concert series held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada since 2007. The event is owned and organized by Ottawa country singer Lefty McRighty.[1] Performing artists are typically independent and unsigned, with the majority being local. O-Town Hoedown uses the term "alt-whatever country music" to define the styles of music it features, including Alternative country, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Cowpunk, Indie folk, Outlaw country and Neotraditional country.[2] [3]
