James Boyle's works inspired me to research more about copyright and the public domain. I decided to research the historical context for copyright in the United States for an eventual book series in which I look at each of the United States Supreme Court cases dealing with the subject. Wikipedia basically lets me keep general notes on each case while contributing to the world's access to the topic, so I started helping with more general issues related to Supreme Court cases here while I was at it.

I went to school to become a software engineer and worked at that for a little while. That industry is a blight on this world, pretty much, and I couldn't stand working with the particular company I had fallen in with. After I quit for the sake of my mental health, nobody else would hire me. Womp, womp. My next career path is law school, and we'll see where that takes me.

I make audio recordings for fun when the mood strikes me. I once co-hosted a technology podcast called whiletruefm, and the first episode is here. My current show is called Amicus Lectio. I read open access and public domain legal scholarship. You can start with the first episode, though I also recommend the Pokemon Go episode to start. It has been on hiatus for a long time because the COVID Pandemic put me in A Whole Mood that demanded to be processed, but I still intend to return to it.
