I, Malcolm Theodore Hoffman (born July 16, 2003), am a student at The University of Texas at Dallas. I am most well known for double majoring in Math and Physics, but I'm also a guitarist, runner, and unicyclist. I am mostly straight and completely based.

I moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Richardson, Texas in August, 2021.

Early Life[edit]

I was raised with two brothers by my mother. She raised us and went to law school at the same time like an absolute chad. She's always supported me and I wouldn't have made it nearly as far as I have if it weren't for her. The older of my little brothers, Lucas, also has had a big impact on me. We were forced to hang out a lot over the pandemic and became besties. Without that, I would've gone insane.

My father is cringe and bluepilled.

School[edit]

In middle school, I was taught how to play guitar by Mr. Miller, who always knew what technique I needed to practice next to improve. Mr. Koenig furthered my guitar training in high school by always knowing the perfect piece for me to learn.

At Ed W. Clark High School, I attended the AMSAT program for Math and Science. I was a co-captain of the Cross Country team, with a 5k time of 17:00 and a 5:00 mile time (only made possible by the experienced coaching of Coach Chuck Bennion). Although my forte in music is classical guitar, I briefly joined jazz band for the meme. My Physics teacher fostered my passions for Physics and unicycling.

At UTD, I have branched out into the Jujutsu club, University Choir, and ASL club in addition to Math and Physics coursework and running.

Tastes in Media[edit]

Music[edit]

I am a casual enjoyer of Rage Against the Machine, MF Doom, and Death Grips. My favorite music to play on the guitar is 20th Century Brazilian pieces.

Movies[edit]

Recently introduced by screenwriter and director Avery Bainbridge, I am a big fan of Edward Yang films. My favorite among them is A Brighter Summer Day.
