Micro Maniacs Bubblecars and Microcars

The Micro Maniacs is the UK’s largest Microcar and Bubblecar Club and is a source of information and advice to owners of and enthusiasts for small cars under 700cc (3 or 4 wheeled), including bubblecars and microcars, both classic and modern, such as AC Petite, Aixam, Allard Clipper, Ant, Ape, Abarth, Autobianchi, Bamby, Bianchi, Berkeley, Bond Minicar, Bond Bug, BMW 600, BMW Isetta, Brutsch Mopetta, Champion, Citroën 2CV, Coronet, Cursor, Daihatsu, Classic Fiat 500, 600, 126, Multipla, FMR, Fuldamobil, Goggomobil, Heinkel, Honda, Invacar, ISO Isetta, Kleinwagen, Kleinschnittger, Ladybird, Ligier, Lomax, Lloyd, Maico, Mazda R360, Meadows Frisky, Messerschmitt, Microcar, Nobel, NSU Prinz, Peel, Piaggio, Powerdrive, Reliant, Rodley, Romi-Isetta, Scootacar, Smart, Spatz, Spider, Suzuki, Targa, Trabant, Triking, Trojan, Unicar, Velorex, Velam, Vespa, Victoria, Willam, Zundapp, plus others....

The Micro Maniacs were formed as the East Yorkshire Micro Maniacs in 1989 when bubblecar enthusiasts in the East Riding got together to form a club. The “East Yorkshire” part of the name was discontinued as the Club grew to have members throughout the UK, plus some overseas members as far afield as Berlin and New Zealand.

The Micro Maniacs are members of The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs ( FBHVC ).

The Micro Maniacs organise the Northern Microcar Rally which is the largest annual microcar event in the North of England, and were Organisers of The UK (Inter)National Microcar Rally in 2007 and 2009. They also provide regular week-end rallies and social activities throughout the year, including their Christmas Rally which is held in September when it is usually much warmer.
