José Silva was an American parapsychologist and author who founded the Silva Method, a popular self-help program that teaches individuals how to use their minds to improve their lives. He was born on August 11, 1914, in Laredo, Texas, and spent much of his life researching the power of the human mind and developing techniques to help people tap into that power. He wrote several books on the subject, including "The Silva Mind Control Method" and "The Silva Method: Unlocking the Genius Within." He passed away on February 7, 1999, in Laredo, Texas.
